The Pesticide ROUNDUP on Eco-Logic

Ken Gale, Producer and Host of Radio’s Eco-Logic on WBAI, interviews  Manhattan teacher Paula Rogovin and Tiffany Finck-Haynes, a Friends of the Earth (FOE) campaign coordinator, on the problems of the everyday use of the pesticide, ROUNDUP, also known as Glyphosate, that extends to bees, people and the unborn.

Paula is a first grade teacher whose students and their parents over the last four years, have researched this chemical and have journeyed to help bring about a bill in the NYC Council to control this substance’s usage in NYC.  They recently gave testimony at City Hall and appeared on national TV and other media to inform, educate and seek others in the passage of this piece of legislation:  Intro 0800.

Tiffany Finck-Haynes has been involved as a staff member of Friends of the Earth (FOE) in a number of campaigns about pesticides, including ROUNDUP and explains her reasons why.
