Where: Pier 84 at 12th Avenue and West 44th Street at Hell’s Kitchen
At the Blues BBQ Festival we think it is a good opportunity for us to do outreach and hand out flyers and distribute information about fracking, the need for renewable energy and the People’s Climate March. We will also ask people to sign petitions. If you can come and join us, please RSVP to Ling at ling_tsou@yahoo.com. If you can come, please RSVP so we will know how many flyers and other literature to bring and please bring at least one clipboard with you. We very much appreciate it.
Tuesday August 26, 2014 – United for Action Core Team Meeting

We hope to see many of you at the meeting. We very much appreciate your participation and your input. For those of you who have taken UFA petition forms, please bring any sheets of signatures you’ve gathered to the meeting and give them to us. We are collecting all signed petitions for a petition delivery in the fall.

We’re building a powerful movement to ban fracking, label GMO foods, prevent the misuse of antibiotics in factory farms, and protect New York’s food and water – and we need you to be a part of it! Learn how to get involved with the People’s Climate March, the Global Frackdown, a Fracking Reality Tour, and our summer petition drive. We will also hold a training on writing and publishing effective letters to the editor.

Please come and join us in talking to people about the dangers of fracking and climate change, the need to transition to renewables and distribute information about People’s Climate March.
