Operation Sweep Out Corruption: An Anti-Keystone Pipeline Action

 

Should we allow a Canadian energy pipeline to be built across the center of the US from Canada to the Gulf of Mexico? Known as the Keystone-XL pipeline (KXL) for the last few years, communities across the nation have been organizing and rallying against it. The Earth Quaker Action Team of Philadelphia helped put together a training session for people willing to risk arrest in a demonstration to send a message to President Obama about the recent US Department’s report and his upcoming decision to accept the building of that pipeline. This video takes you through the activists’ day of training, marching, arriving, risking arrest, being arrested and supporting those persons.
