Jeff Zimmerman has spent his legal career practicing environmental law, with the Environmental and Natural Resources Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, as in-house environmental counsel for Atlantic Richfield Company, Occidental Petroleum Corporation and, over the last 6 years, in a practice focused on representing environmental and citizen groups on issues related to water resources, land use regulation and unconventional natural gas development. He has worked on the environmental issues associated with all aspects of the nuclear fuel cycle. In addition to his law degree, he possesses an undergraduate degree in physics.
